Spinal adjustments are given to established patients who have been examined and deemed necessary. We are not a one-size fits all approach. We customize the adjustment for the age, size, and condition of each individual patient.

Unlike traditional acupuncture, holistic dry needling targets trigger points, tight muscles, and connective tissues to address musculoskeletal dysfunction.

When used alongside chiropractic care, holistic dry needling can complement and enhance the benefits of chiropractic adjustments. Chiropractic care primarily focuses on spinal manipulation to restore proper alignment and nerve function. However, chiropractic patients may also experience muscular imbalances, trigger points, or areas of chronic tension.

Dry needling can help address these issues by directly targeting muscular trigger points and reducing muscle tension. Dr. Hartwell created Sacred Spines Chiropractic to serve and support the wellness needs of families of the Indianapolis community. She has been in practice over 15 years and has honed her skills with the specific needs of pregnant and pediatric patients over her 350 hours of post doctoral education. Thorough care and personable attention is what can be expected from Dr. Hartwell. She strives to continuously enhance skills to better serve her practice members. She is certified in Webster Technique, Infant Cranial Adjusting, as well as tongue and lip tie specialist. She has two vibrant boys, a supportive husband, two crazy dogs, 3 Nieces and 6 Nephews all under the age of 6, that she enjoys life with outside of the office.
